C&C Automotive is a family-owned repair shop, not a data company. This page explains, in plain terms, what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version: the only information you can hand this website directly is a job application. We do not sell your information, and you can ask us to delete anything we hold about you.
Information you give us
There is one form on this website: the job application on our Careers page. When you submit it, you give us your first and last name, your email address, your phone number, whatever you write in the “about you” box, and the resume file you attach.
That application is emailed straight to our hiring inbox. It is not stored on this website, and it is not added to any mailing list. We use your email address and phone number to reply to you about the job and nothing else.
If you book an appointment through the “Book Appointment” button, that booking window belongs to Tekmetric, the shop-management software we use. Whatever you enter there, like your name, contact details and vehicle, goes to Tekmetric and into our shop system, and is handled under their privacy practices as well as ours.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records some basic technical information when you visit:
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, roughly what part of the country they are in, and what kind of device they use. This tells us which of our service pages are useful and which are not. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
Advertising measurement
We advertise on Google. When you tap one of our phone numbers or open the appointment booking window, the site notes that it happened, and Google Tag Manager passes it to Google Ads so we can tell which ads lead to a call or a booking. Google uses a cookie to connect that action to the ad you clicked, if you came from one. We do not send your name, phone number or anything you type into the booking window.
Security logs
Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server information, and the site briefly keeps your network address in memory to stop the same source from flooding our forms. It is not written to a database and is not used to identify you.
As of the date at the top of this page, this website carries no social-media tracking pixel, no session recording, no heat mapping and no chat widget.
If we add other advertising tools later, we will say so here, and describe what they collect, before or as they go live. The date at the top of this page is how you can tell whether you are reading the current version.
Other companies involved
A handful of outside services make parts of this site work. Each one only sees what it needs to:
Google Analytics
Website traffic measurement, described above.
Google Tag Manager and Google Ads
Loads our measurement tags and tells our Google advertising which ads led to a call or a booking, described above.
Tekmetric
Our shop-management software, which powers the appointment booking window.
Mailgun
Carries job application emails from the website to our hiring inbox.
OpenStreetMap
Supplies the map images on our locations pages. Loading a map means that service sees your connection, the same as visiting any website.
Google Business Profile
Our customer reviews come from Google. Reviewer names and profile photos are shown as Google publishes them.
DigitalOcean
Hosts this website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep things
Job applications stay in our hiring inbox while we are considering you, and afterwards for as long as we think you might be a fit for something that opens up. When we know we no longer need an application, we delete it.
You can ask us to delete yours sooner, at any time, and we will.
Appointment and repair records are kept in our shop system as part of your service history. That is how we honor warranties and look up what was done to your vehicle last time.

Children
This website is meant for adults arranging vehicle service or applying for a job. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the information you send through it travels encrypted. We limit who at C&C Automotive can see job applications to the people doing the hiring. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not keep information on this website that does not need to be here.
Changes to this policy
If we add something to this website that collects information, such as a contact form, a newsletter or an advertising tool, we will update this page before or when it goes live. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last changed.
